The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has suspended its planned strike scheduled to commence today, Monday, November 13.

In a communique issued by JUSUN on Saturday, after a meeting with the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) at the Supreme Court complex in Abuja.
Recall that JUSUN was set to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike over the failure of the Government to implement the N35, 000 minimum wage and 40% peculiar allowance for judiciary workers. However, after extensive deliberations centred on the issues, JUSUN directed its members to call off the strike and be at their duty posts on Monday to continue rendering services.
The communique observed there has been undue delay by the government in responding to the demands of judiciary workers especially on the new minimum wage.
JUSUN also said it noted communication gaps between its national leadership and federal chapters, which delayed prompt action on staff welfare issues.
